Diego Tosi
Diego Tosi is a Medical Oncologist at the Montpellier Cancer Institute (ICM). He graduated from the University of Milan in 2000, completed his training in the early phase trial team of Instituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan and Institute Curie in Paris, and obtained a PhD degree from the University of Montpellier. At ICM, he created in 2011 and has been directing thereafter the Early Phase Trial Unit.
Its clinical activity focuses on the early phase development of new cancer treatments and on the treatment of patients affected by urological.
He is the coordinator of the Montpellier Center for Early Phase Trials, which includes early phase trial teams of ICM and Montpellier University Hospital, and is the scientific coordinator of Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna, a research organization based in Milan.
He is actively involved in preclinical research at the Montpellier Cancer Research Institute (IRCM) and at the Concerted Research Institute of Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna, where he leads a research program on cancer adaptive responses to drugs and rational selection of new drug combinations.
